Lightbulb Snowman Ornament

For this gift, featured on Parents.com, you recycle an old lightbulb, and decorate it with some paint, fabric and markers and, taa daa, a very cute snowman ornament emerges.

Materials:

Old lightbulb

Toilet Paper Tube

White Paint

Solid Color Paint

Markers

Small Piece of Fabric

Spray Adhesive

Clear glitter

Wire

Directions :

Balance a lightbulb on a toilet-paper tube

Paint the glass part white.

Paint the metal a solid color for the snowman's hat.

Add eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons with markers.

Wrap a small piece of fabric around the lightbulb neck for the snowman's scarf.

Finish it off with some spray adhesive and a sprinkle of clear glitter.

To hang, take a bit of wire and twist it around the hat.

Adorn Thy Festive Tree:

Place the ornament in a coveted spot, but since it is glass, make sure to place it on a sturdy branch and away from the bottom of the tree. We wouldn't want little curious hands cut if it should break, would we?
